Caroline Gueye is a Senegalese artist.

​

Her work explores how perception is shaped by distance, framing and access. Through spatial installations, she creates environments in which viewers must orient themselves physically, encountering works that appear, withdraw or remain partially unreachable.

 

Trained in astrophysics and atomic physics, she draws on physical phenomena and theoretical models as structures for thinking about perception and experience. Light and reflective surfaces are used to destabilize orientation, scale and the certainty of what is seen.​
